I had a doctor's appointment today and they said I had blood in my urine. They are sending it to the lab for testing so I won't find out what is wrong for a few days. Has this happened to anyone else?
Yea it happened to me it was kidney stones and its very common in pregnancy but I hope that's all it is for u it hurts like a bhotch but at least it is fixable
I had blood in my urine a few months ago, but no other symptoms at all. I could actually see the blood and I'm 100% sure it was in my urine. They tested it and said there was a microscopic infection but it wasn't worth treating. It wasn't a UTI and so far I don't have any symptoms of a kidney stone. Docs were baffled and so am I. I'll probably get an MRI or something after I have the baby, just to be sure.
I had it the whole time with my 2nd son. My placenta was covering my cervix until about 30 weeks. If ur active it can cause microscopic bleeding. No biggie though
It takes a few days to get results back, they are culturing your urine to see if it grows anything...we ladies can get a sterile cystitis which just means an inflammation of the bladder with no infection or stones, usually no symptoms, no known cause...if no bacteria grow, then no infection I've had both, an infection and the sterile cystits, both like almost 2 years apart. Fingers crossed for you!
