Low Amniotic Fluid-30 weeks & scared!

Today I went to my doctors office and paid for a 4d US because we wanted to see our baby boys face. The first thing she said was the babies face was towards my back and that we wouldn't be getting any pictures today. She then started measuring from the placenta down to the baby (which was very little) and I immediately new that wasn't good. She left the room, came back & said the doctor wants me to do a normal routine scan. When the doctor came in to talk to me he told me he wanted me to go to the specialty hospital today or tomorrow to get a second opinion & evaluated. Also that I may have to deliver there. The doctor from the specialty hospital called me shortly after and told me his nurse would call me later to schedule for when I need to come in. Its now 10pm and no call from them. I am freaking out while all my family googles crap making me even more worried and all my friends tell me not to wait for them to call to just go to the ER. Does anyone have any positive stories to this ending? I am so scared they are going to tell me something is wrong with our little Eli :'(((

    I would call them instead. Sometimes those nurses forget all about you and don't get off the phone til an appt is made ASAP.

    Btw I have RH incompatiblity and low blood palette counts...other than that they have said everything is healthy and fine

    @inloveee What is your amniotic fluid measuring at? I've been at a little below 9 since I was 30 weeks and the baby is doing great I'll be 35 weeks sunday. Keep drinking lots of water and try not to stress to much. Your baby will be ok sweetie! I go every friday to get a non stress test. To measure the amniotic fluid and I'm hooked up to the monitor to monitor her heartbeat for atleast 20 minutes. Just keep your head up and I'm sure you'll be ok!

    il keep you in my thoughts hunnie! give us an update as soon as you see the other doctor! and think positive!!!! and if i was you i would call them and ask wtf! they should be more worried about that baby! i would have a bitch fit if i was you by now!

    I believe 5 something...that's what I thought I heard him say to his delivery nurse and when the tech was measuring the fluid on US...it was barely anything between the placenta and the baby. Its scary if they have to deliver early but I just want my baby to be okay and with no abnormalities.
