my dr said normal doses of tylenol are fine...or baby aspirin. in the e.r. they gave me a vicodin and said in small doses its fine...jus dont take enough to get high lol.
Excedrine tension headache. Its got the same stuff as tylenol but a tad bit of caffeen to help speed up the recovery! I buy it in huge bottles at costco. My ob said bc the caffeen is minimal its ok to take
I just got back from the doc and I get headaches/migraines and my doc said I can take excedrin migraine ,(I'm in the 2nd tri) and also they prescribed tylnol 3. They said not to take the excedrin more then 3 times in a week. And to rotate between the 2, I get debilitating headaches almost daily.....hope that helps, but you should probably call your doc/nurse and ask for sure, and don't trust er doctors. Lol
My doctor says nothing but tylenol. I was told no caffeine and no prescription meds unless prescribed by the OB. Always ask your doctor first. Oh and was also told absolutely no aspirin once you get to your 3rd trimester.
Tylenol reg strength only.I suffer from headaches n severe migraines.alot of ppl r sayin caffeine my neurologist says stay away from caffeine its a trigger for my migraines but maybe it will work for u bc alot of ppl r suggesting it.good luck %%- feel better
My dr also said only tylenol unless its a severe situation. Then only by dose. And I just had three ribs pushed outta place and my dr looked up Vicodin in the med book for preg just to be sure and it said absolutely not. they get rated on an a b c typ scale. Vicodin was worst. Can cause birth defects or bleeding. Would double check your dr. I just had to deal with the pain n go to fis therapy. My best friend had a dr office tell her she could take a certain allergy med and she was insecure about it so she looked it up, and same thing. Worst thing she could take causes birth defects. She got a second opinion and was told absolutely not!! She quit that dr and went somewhere else..
