is this labour or not?

I've been in agony for days with belly. aches and all the signs of early labour, and in the early hour of the morning I woke up in agony again but these pains felt more like a contraction, I'm a firt time mum & don't know what they feel like but these were nothing like braxton hicks the pains have started to stay constantly now and I'm a little worried as to whether I should go to the hospital or not. I've not gone over the last few days because the contractions were very irregular

I'm 38 weeks +6

Are you timing your contractions? Is baby moving a lot?

he's only moving now and again and he usually moves like a trooper, you cant time them as its turned into a constant pain again, i could time them earlier it was one every 5 to 6 mins lasting 3 mins then they changed to be like this

Could possibly be labor...it couldn't hurt to go in an be checked. Good luck hun!
