  • So does it hurt when they try to turn the baby? I'm just curious .....
  • Step away from Google. If your doctor hasn't found anything to be concerned about so far regarding the health of baby, I think your ok. My first son wasn't breech, my second one was and my third is too. Subsequent babies have more room to flip around and may find it more comfortable to be breech.
  • I watched some external versions on youtube and it didn't look that bad. They are giving me my epidural first so I won't feel anything. Since they are inducing me afterwards anyway. Also in ccase I need an emergency c section. I really should disconnct the internet! I'm sure baby will be fine... just very nervous.
  • Before you do your version hun, go to a chiropractor and get adjusted. Its good for you anyways but it helped turn my little girl at 37 weeks. I got adjusted then I went on a long walk everyday and made sure I sat up straight all the time, no reclining or slouching (sp) that can cause breech presentation as well. I started this at 36 weeks 4 days and at 37 weeks exactly she was head down and perfect in my ultrasound for my version. :) praying baby turns for you hun! Good luck and relax! :)
  • @mommyoftwoprincesses thanks for the advice! I keep waking up every morning praying she will turn.. then I feel that hard head under my ribs... and nope. :( I have hope though she turned from transvers to breech from last week so maybe there is hope yet. I'm really nervous about the whole version though
  • @texasmom3 I had a version done yesterday without pain meds and it didn't hurt. It was a lot of pressure, especially since I was lying flat on my back; but I just took deep breaths and it was over in 7 minutes (it felt like 2 minutes)!
  • Try to stay calm hun, im sure she will turn! The success rate for an external version goes up with subsequent pregnancies. Try to relax your body, take long walks, go to the chiropractor every other day, and in 4 days hopefully she will have flipped herself! :)
  • @mya218 ok thanks! I've been really worried about that cause I'm 34 wks and it doesn't feel like she's head dwn yet.
  • My baby is breech too. They're waiting til 35 weeks to flip cause I've been on bedrest which doesn't help breech. She is frank breech and deliverable though so I'm not too worried.
  • My girl is frank breech too... shoot laying down doesn't help?? I feel like that's all I do!! Poor baby will never turn by sat. There I still hope for you all though my little one turned from transverse to breech in week 37 so its possible. I'm thinking now though that she is good and stuck I can't see her moving in 2 days. :(
