So yesterday my bf's aunt told me that babies delivered in the 8th month don't survive.... Said she lost her first son 5 days after he was born bc of that... Anyone heard/know of this?
I did...and I have a happy healthy 1 1/2 year old. It all depends on the situation. Have you ever seen the duggers? Their last kid was like 25weeks and she is alive
I don't believe that at all, babies that are born in the 6th month can survive since they are fully developed already, from the 6th month on they start using their lungs more and just gain baby fat.
I was born at 34 weeks I'm fine for the most part lol no growing or leaning problems at all. I don't see how she thinks that.... her baby must have had something going on before that
Hell my mom was born at 6.5mos in 1954 and she obviously survived, cause I wouldn't be here. These days there are babies born at 22-26wks and survive. There had to be something else going.
I was born at 28ish wks and I'm fine. It All depend in the baby and the situations. I think the survival rate is about 90% in the 8 month...don't quote me on that though.
