rental assistance help? in ohio..not preg related

I have one baby, one on the way. I have a part time job that's a joke. Anyone know how to go about getting rental assistance? I'm really hard up for money and can't afford first months rent plus deposit. U:/ so stressed thanks for reading.

    Nw corner..45 min west of Toledo. So just call job and fam services? Make an appt with my caseworker maybe?

    I live about 45 mins or less from Cleveland. They should be able to help you figure out some place or call your local united way. Or salvation army or metropolitan housing. Idk what its called up that way.

    I am about 20 min south of toledo! Hiya neighbor! Also try area churches to help with deposit. If the church can't help chances r they can direct you to a charity that can.

    I called community action and they have no funds for my town ugh so now onto jfs and churchea. Okay thanks ladies!

    you got it. churches, jfs, obviously you already called community action. i know jfs hooked up my cousin, her two kids and hubby with first months rent and they waved deposit.

    I might have to call, because I can afford rent I just can't do a deposit + rent ..1000 out the door is too much right now
