Does ovulation kinda hurt?

Everytime I am supposed to ovulate, I get a pain in my uterus. Its kinda hard to explain. Its not like painful, just an achy feeling. My friend said her doc. tld her she ovulates one day and her egg releases on another day. Is tht possible. Her periods ate irregular an so are mine. I do use ovulation tests to predict fertility.

    I can always tell when I'm ovulating I can feel it in my ovary it hurts a little.

    Yes! To me it feels like a constant twinge or sometimes a dull ache in my left ovary. It's called mittelshmertz "ovulation pain." I know this cuz I also thought somethin was wrong wit me til one day I went to the ER & that's what they told me lol.

    Yes it does hurt. But not many people pay attention to there bodies enough to notice that. It's a good thing.

    That makes me feel so much better!!! It only happens on my "ovulation day" so maybe its just releasing the egg.

    I get crampy when I ovulate also

    I could always tell like if I would sneeze cough or get up to fast they would hurt. Almost like a tight feeling? It's hard to explain

    @mscheyla I completely understand!! That's exactly what I feel!! Like when I sneeze or cough or try to run during that time it hurts....
