  • * UPDATE * --
just got back from hospital now.
I'm dilated 2 cm but no thining (dont know what that means) so there guessing that's y I was in pain. There going to see me every 2 week to keep an eye on me but they don't seem to worried :)
    Thanks for your concern ladies
  • I just started reading this I am glad to hear that you and baby are ok just try to get some rest dis they say you needed to be put on bedrest or anything like that
  • did they put you on bedrest or anything. cuz im almost 2cm and im 32 weeks and on strict bedrest

  • They just told me to take it easy and told me they'd like me to cut my hours down at work. Baby is fine though :) I've got an appointment on the 26th with my midwife so will get things checked again
  • I'm so glad you both are ok but as the other ladies said please take it easy.
  • Glad to hear ur ok
  • Glad to hear you feel better but please take it easy, dilating so early needs to be monitored
  • I am very confused :/ if I was told to just take it easy after dialating 2cm at 23 weeks I would get a 2nd opinion.
  • Did they give you anything to keep you from contracting? Or talk about maybe stitching your cervix? I'm glad you and the baby are ok but this just seems more serious than a take it easy situation. I've never heard of a mother at 23weeks not being able to walk up stairs then dialating to 2cm and sent home to take it easy?
  • They said that baby was to high up to be coming anytime soon, and as long as I don't do loads of walking or lifting then I should be fine, oh and sex is a no no until further notice
  • Glad everything is fine
  • I'd get second opinion if u really want to keep this baby...something sounds wrong w the doc that saw u
  • Just want to bump this... I hope you can see your midwife today.

  • That's what they said @HomeBirthAdvocate my cervix is long and there's no thining, but wasn't sure what that ment.
They've made me an appointment with my midwife tomorrow and then again on the 26th. My job involves me being on my feet for 10 hrs a night and doing a bit of lifting, so I have a doctors note that has gave me 2 weeks off then when I go back I'm cutting my hours practically in half and there going to put me in the office to do filling etc
