I have learned and heard some pretty interesting things since I joined pregly that I hadn't heard before I think one that sticks out most is that you shouldn't get pedicures later on because it can induce labor... my toes look like crap but I don't want half of the pedicure I want the whole thing.

hemrhoids! i dont have them and didnt now how common they were for preg women. i was shocked when i started reading all the stories. im hoping they dont show up for me.

I agree with the castor oil. I had never heard of it. I also had no idea that my nipples would turn all shades of dark. :-S

@littlelaydee oh that is what it is called I never heard of it during my first two pregnancies @kcike812 my nipples have gotten big and really dark never knew they could get this dark.

I think the wierdest thing I've heard is the fact that if your water breaks early in pregnancy it can build back up

I never knew this and I'm 33 yrs old on my 2nd baby. Oh and the fact that they can send you home dialated at a 4! I was shocked on that one too.

@Amipregnant i havent heard of the water breaking building back up. Are you sure its not the mucous plug you are talking about? I know if you lose your mucous plug early on, it will reginerate.

@mybabe Just in case you decide to try it, it's Castor Oil. Castrol is a brand of automotive oil. Don't make that mistake! ;-)

@mommy2now3 go get your pedi just ask them to skip the massage around your ankles the spot to avoid is 3 fingers above the bone. On the inside and outside of your leg its just a small pressure point. Like most self induction meathods it only puts you into labor if your body is ready

That babys brain develops smooth then gets its ridges around the start of 3rd trimester
