Mine was about 5 weeks his dr was really old fashioned and wouldn't do it without dad but dad was out to sea so he finally did it I had to stay in the waiting room they say he slept through it and only cried when they moved him to put his diaper on.
Less than a week old. Our ins wouldn't pay fot it and it was cheaper at our pediatricians office, so we waited till we were released from the hospital.
I'm actually not getting my son circumcised, but if you decide to go through with it, I think he'll be fine even at 6 weeks. Seems like the crappiest part for them is the recovery time. I don't know anything about circumcision tho.
