i need advice on weather i should switch doctors

I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and I have been having cramping and extreme pressure at times and dull back ache and horrible stinging cervix pain during sex. My cervix feels like its closer to my opening. I'm having more hip pain on the right side. My doctor didn't have the hospital check me today cause I have an appointment on March 7th and he will check me then. I had two cases where I had yellow snotty discharge. I'm scared out of my mind. Someone please help

    I was just there. I can't go back today or my insurance wont cover it. Should I find a new doctor?

    Calm down honey. I would call the doctor and see if they could move your appointment up. They should if you tell them what's going on.

    Just go back tomorrow. And the next day. And the next. They will get tired of seeing you and do whatever you want just to get you out of there. I've done it.

    I would call the on call doctor at your drs office and tell her everything.. she may tell you to go in and get checked tonight at the hospital just to make sure everything's fine .. my obgyn who is the best in my state told me to count even what feels like period cramps as a contraction..and that if I had a bad backache to call also. Those could be signs of preterm labor.I was having preterm labor at 31 weeks and spent a night in the hospital and was unaware I was dialating and 80% effaced.. I was having tightening in my tummy and what felt like tiny electric shocks in my vagina after sex too.. and I was actually having contractions (tummy tightening ) and the sex made it worse.. but the pains I was feeling in my cervex was actually my cervex effacing ( getting shorter in preparation For labor) I was put on strict bedrest since 31 weeks and now at 34.. also w no sex.. I was told the heads of a mans sperm actually contain a hormone that softens the cervex and can cause labor .. I'd call to be safe, its always best.. if I didn't I might have had my girl way to early!

    Whatever you do, see someone asap don't wait until the 7th. Its always best to go as soon as u notice anything

    I did my Dr sent me there today but because I didn't have contractions he said he will check me in two weeks. He's going out of state tomorrow as always. He knows my cervix has shortened since the beginning. I think he is a quack sorta.

    I will call and find a new Dr tomorrow. It makes me mad that I was at the hospital for two hrs and the nurse wouldn't check me cause the Dr said no

    Now THAT is messed up. Because everyone's body is different anyways.. and I was oblivious to the fact I was having contractions because i wasnt having any pain..it turns out I was and was dialated to 3! I would def switch .. also be careful if your shortening when ur having sex.. it sounds like me and the cervex pain.. and that's what MT Dr said it was when I said I was having pain inside that was sharp.. but yes.. some drs are stupid.. I'd call tomorrow and also try and see someone tomorrow! Good luck! Keep us updated!

    I can't stand most Dr's. Even if it all is normal, and your totally fine. Your freaking out, stressed out, and have real concernes. For that alone they should take the 5-10 min to check you out. Just to be sure all is well. And to give you some re assurance. Go back or make an apt somewhere els. You pay Them!! Not the other way around!! Get what you pay for!!

    Thank you everyone. It makes me mad cause he sent me there to get checked and see what is going on and then when the nurse calls he says don't check. What the heck! I didn't have any complications with my first child. My Dr says I'm concidered risk for preterm labor and then pulls this. My bf doesn't want to worry about it and thinks I should wait but he has no clue

    Well put your feet up, drink lots of water, and try to relax as much as you can tonight. Then go in and flip out on them tomorrow!!! And tell your bf he's not getting any sex now for sure!!! lolLollol

    My Dr did say no sex till he checks me LOL my bf is to scared anyway.
