Anyone have Group B strep??? Or know anything about it?

    I tested positive for it my dr said its not anything to worry about they will just run a course of antibiotics thru ur system when ur in labor it's just to protect baby

    Yeah, that's what my dr said too. Do the antibiotics get rid of it? Or is this a life long thing?

    I tested positive also. I was given antibiotics and will receive more when its time for baby

    Its not life long. They run antibiotics. I get inDuced tomorrow and theyre starting them right away. If ur allergic to penicillin itll be a little more complicated. Also has the potential to make ur labor longer if ur water doesnt br3ak on its own because they wont pop it at the hospital until ur like 9cm so theres less chance of baby infected.
