sinus infection? wht meds?

Called doc no call bk yet its been going on 2days my right side of my head feels like its gonna explode it keeps popping I cant sleep I been taking tylenol but nothing....what can I take if this is sinus infection? Ive never had one...ive had sinus headaches but this is different it feels like.....any help? Thanks

    Tmi but also had lots of diareah today not sure if thts part of infection?

    I wouldn't take anything without talking with your doctor. I had a sinus infection last week and its starting to get better on its own. But you want your doctor to know what's going on. Make an appointment with your normal doctor.

    i just got over a cold. I had a runny/stuffy nose, sore throat, and sinus pressure. The doctor told me to take sudafed (not sure if i spelt that right) and then i was allowed to take chloraseptic for my sore throat. I got better in about 7 days

    How far along are you? If out of 1st trimester you can take sudafed, claritin or benadryl.

    You can take Claritin (loratadine) not the one with the decongestant though. Or benadryl. Those will help with your symptoms. Your doctor probably needs to call in an antibiotic.

    What I did I had a bad sinus infection tryed to shake it w antihistamine from walgreens the generic and it helped but not clearing the infection ask ur doc for an antibiotic its safe I was taking amoxicillen or how ever u spell it and it worked

    I'm 30.4 weeks and have a sinus infection for my entire pregnancy... Nothing worked I took everything that is allowed even was prescribed amoxcillin on two different occasions... I'm still stuck with the drainage.. my infection has been so bad that I no longer have my voice.. its scratchy.. I pray it goes back normal

    I'm in my 33week Dr got upset cause I called medical line not scedual desk no one told me I didn't think it was that serious but as long as my temp stays below 101 then I wait for my Dr appointment in am. I was told to take benedrl until then....ugh I feel like shit
