Hi there I'm a little confused how the medical works I'm 13 weeks going on 14 with my 1st pregnancy. I still haven't been to the doc. & I know I should. This whole medical kinda scares me, & I dnt know what I'm doing? Do I have to wait to be approved or can I still go vist a doc right away?

    If u turned in ur paperwork you can go right away just tell the dr that u filed and are waiting to hear back. They can't deny you from being treated when u are pregnant.

    I dont know what state you are in but in louisiana it didn't long at all for my card to come in but I would start trying to find a doc right away and don't be scared I was at first but im 5 mths now and its not that bad! Good luck!

    Well for me I went to the doc n I had insurance but I had went on vacation so I forgot To pay for it so it was not active I was able to apply for medical n gave it to me for one month temp at the docs office
