So I have been throwing up all day and night for the past 4 or 5 weeks. I went from 270 pounds to 228 pounds and I feel horrible. Weak, dizzy, tired, can't sleep and night and my stomach swells up. I'm at a breaking point.
I had the same issues, but when they did the u/s they did not see anything. Late that day, I wound up in the ER with a temp of 103 and nausea and vomiting. I got admitted and they ended up doing an EGD and a HIDA scan ( this checks how fast bile leaves your gall bladder). Anything less then 5% ejection is bad, I was at 0! They took my gall bladder out and I have felt so much better since then!! It is hard for them to see anything on the u/s unless you are having an attack at that moment. So if it comes back negative, request the HIDA Scan.
@prayin4agurl I have galstomes. Fould out at 26 weeks pregnant. I had the worst attack. I ended up on the hospital (even tho there was nothing they could do). This was a Friday. Monday morning I got an u/s and you could se hundreds of stones floatin around. I've hade countless attacks a week up until about a week ago (I'm not 36 + 3. ) thank god. But I can't get it removed till after she's here. How far along are you?
@prayin4agurl it starts as just a pain below ur right boob and get worse. Throwin up, had to breath, hard to move, severe pain.
Let's just say I was crawling on the livin room floor because I couldn't walk. I tohught I was havin a heart attack. The pain was wordless and it was hard to breath.
The dr said that inless I'm throwin up or have a fever that I just have to work thru it. If I'm throwin up or have a fever I have to go to l&d for fluid.
He also said they won't take it out when I'm pregnant. To risky. So I have an apt with the serg. Next week. I hope that you don't have to suffere the whole time. =(
