DeYoung Family Zoo...Michigan

i want to plan a trip there! anyone been there? was it worth it? whats the best part of the zoo?
Is there anything else to do around that area??

    i have only been to the zoo once since they moved and renovated it (several years back). but it is fabulous. i know people who spend the weekend up there (I live about 30 mins- 1 hr away) and they go every day and just barely see most of it. it's crazy!

    wow that is crazy. i live more than 2 hrs away from the milwaukee zoo and the DeYoung zoo so either way its a long trip, an all day trip

    yea that's a long day. you're crazy for going this late in your pregnancy! lol. i am at the point this little girl is going to fall out and it's a pain in my pelvis- literally :((

    ya im technically supposed to b on bedrest, but i need some sort of fun, and if one day is all i get, one day is all i get...it sux but im about to have a mental breakdown...
    im really excited and im going to make sure to pack my meds

    ya my little girl is always in my ribs so i cant breath, it sux!

    We have friends and family who go a few times every year and swear its the best zoo. Have a great time!

    I loved watching their tv show. I would love to go one day. I live in Texas though so I'd have to wait until my lo is a few yrs older. =p

    I live in Green Bay and know lots of people who have gone to DeYoung and love it!! I've never gone, but I really want to. You can hold the baby tigers and stuff!!

    I live in michigan, and have never heard of it! Lol. I go to either toledo zoo or detroit zoo. I'm like smack dab in the middle of the two!
