okay, thanks everyone! My mom was saying I don't need to buy one right away ....but she hasn't had a baby in years! Haha. Anyone have any swing suggestions? I was thinking about getting the snug a bunny one ( not sure on name)($160). I'm not too worried on space saving. But if you like the smaller ones than the big ones, let me know!
I plan on using the swing when I'm not cuddling with my son. I love the Sugar Plum swing at Babies R Us with the canopy! If I was having a girl, I'd get that just because its so funny!
I would just suggest one that plugs in to the wall a friend of mine had a baby boy last year and there swing just ate the batteries like crazy..poor daddy was always running out for batteries at 3 am. So if possible, try to get one that plugs in good luck mama!
@Mama_Kat I got one almost just like that off craigslist for 35 bucks n LOVE it best deal ever so far!!! Can't wait to put her in it, I have her dolly in there right now till she comes lol
@mama0811 I liked that the sung a bunny one had a lot of great reviews! I think it will be worth the $160.
@mama_kat that one is adorable! I'm still debating on wither or not to get a girly one or a neutral one. I'm not gonna have another baby for 2-3 years, so idk if the swing will even work by then if I get a neutral one or if I should just go for a cutesy one for my baby girl now.
@cait_septembermommy get the snugabunny one!! Buy it online and you'll save like 30 bucks! I think my sis got mine on amazon. She had the old my little lamb swing and my nephew lived in it! She said it made her life sooo much easier since she has a 2yr old. So you'll definitely get your moneys worth, I can't waitto use mine it lookssoo awesome and I like how it swings 2 diff ways and its plug in so no need to worry about batteries!
yep and if theyer tiny you can get a pumper for there head.. they have some that have bottons were the straps go so they are extreamly easy to attatch.. oh yeah and all my babys love swing time.. and so did i .. lol
Oh and I went gender neutral also I'm having a girl and plan on using it with my next baby which will be in 2 or 3 years also... I'm sure it'll still work I've seen waaaay older and cheaper looking swings still working (I got a used one with my son)
@lily_glz yeah, I'm gonna get it at babies r us because I have a 20% off coupon so then it'll be around 130, love saving some money! The plug in will be great so I don't have to worry about batteries!
I bought the snugabunny swing too! I put it together yesterday but I had to take it apart to send back because I think mine was defective. The motor and mobile were really loud. Amazon ordered me a new one. Yes, it was only $130 on Amazon with free shipping.
