I'm a dental assistant and you.can go now ur dentist will mostly liky prescribe antibiotic for the infection and either call or request a medical release asking your ob if its ok to work on that tooth
You can actually go whenever... good dental hygiene is especially encouraged during pregnancy as long as no x rays are done. Good luck! I have my wisdoms coming out as well.
well since you can swallow the infection and its not good at all i would call your ob tommorrow and have them fax the paper needed for dental work to your dentist and tell your dentist its an emergency and they can prolly call you with a cancelled app so you can come in i know this is what it did i HAD to have some wisdom teeth pulled they were causing horrible pain and my dentist took them out with out a problem
actually most obs will let you have xrays at the dentist since it cause just around your head now they will just put in the note to make sure you wear the lead apron shield
As far as the antibiotics it shouldn't they should prescibe u antibiotics that are for pregnant women ..and for destabilize make sure u double the lead apron if they have to take an xray
It's riskier to have an untreated oral infection than it is to take appropriate antibiotics. Oral infections can travel to your heart & brain if not treated. See a dentist. DO NOT take any "left over" antibiotics.
