  • Also cause I'm still waiting on insurance to kick in so I can't just waltz into a clinic and be getting the ones from the doctor yet.. sucks but I just wanna be assured :)
  • Yep. Nature Made is an excellent company. My doc said the over the counter ones are just as good. Seems like someone here mentioned to check to see if they have all the iron you need, though. I can't remember.
  • That's the kind I take nature made with dha
  • As long as it has the dha your all good. But to tell you honestly I couldn't take pre-natles they made me so sick. 20 mins after taking them they came back up. My doc had me taking 2 children's vitamins. And sometimes those made me sick. So for most of my pregnacy I didn't take any thing and my little man came out just fine. But that was just me... :)
  • I never got vitamins from my doctor and used the over the counter ones. Still using them for breastfeeding. My docs and daughters pediatrician says over the counter is good.
  • Make sure they have folic acid, iron, DHA and regular vitamibs like calcium, vitamin c etc.
  • I took nature made for most of my pregnancy. I switched over to Target brand recently because it was cheaper and had the same stuff in it.

I've heard you should continue taking prenatals if you breastfeed, so $4 prenatals at Target are a good deal.
  • I took flintstones vitamins. I have high iron and have to use vitamins without too much iron or I get sick from that. I also make sure I eat right and all my children came out fine. As long as your getting the vitamins you need you'll be fine, weither they are store brand or prescription :)
