edited July 2011 in Giving birth
So my doc finally started to give me some info.......saying they would break my water n help my contractions......I didn't think id have to go thru all that....docs reasons were for me to labor in a controlled atmosphere...I thought id be able to just have a normal vag birth.....guess I was wondering if anyone had experience with a vbac n what happened

  • @momof22be I understand my lil lady was breech till last week I'm 29 weeks now she is transverse wow is that uncomfortable I just hope she will flip the rest of the way over lol
@everyoneelse good luck ladies I will be thinking of you too n wish u the best
  • I had one with my second and everything went good my bag broke on its own Si I plan on having one again good luck
  • My aunt jus had one yesterday. She had a c section scheduled for friday. Her water broke on its own at 2pm yesterday n she gave birth to a baby boy at 9:01pm. He ripped her a little (maybe bcuz he was 8lbs 7oz) but she only ended up pushing for no more than 15mins. She also took castor oil to induce herself. I think thts wat really put her into natural labor. She didnt want another c section at all

I signed consent for a vbac but my baby is still breech :( I have a csec scheduled for tuesday. This weekend I am going to try to jump start labor and see if it will make him flip.....wishful thinking probably.
  • Im trying a vbac today with the help of a foley bulb and low dose pitocin. I trust my midwifes decision, she also said no use of cytotec. So if she can rule out one inducer over the other then I trust she knows what she's talking about. Still nervous though! It will be a new experience!!!
  • Good luck @angielaine05 let us know how it goes!!!
  • @angielaine05 good luck mama! Keep us updated
  • I'm having one Oct. My doctor says the best chances are if you go into labour naturally so he will be leaving me to it! I have refused all induction drugs as there is a greater risk of scar rupture and I was induced last time and it didn't feel right and I ended up having my c-section. Good luck hun, just remember you can refuse the stuff they offer, you don't have to accept drugs or intervention of any kind if you don't want it! (*)
