  • Nope they only give you one when you go back to work.
  • They might give yoy a manual one before you go back to work. I have a manula that wic gave me and I got 6oz from on boob
  • @proudmommy8789 so they can give u s manual one cause I want to freeze milk that baby dosent drink so for when I go back to work he will have enough
  • I got a one handed manual one when bby was like 2weeks old.. They give u an electric one at 6weeks... Its free and a Medela Brand... Their over $40.00 at BBRus... Its worth it... Oh and Brand New yours to keep
  • @betty oh its madela brand that cool and u get to keep it forever? Lol do they have where u can plug on the car?
  • Im in Mesquite,tx (dallas)
    No car charger...
    U get to keep it
  • @yaya I live in corona ca that in the inland empire and u
  • The manual one you get to keep it'll be yours! But the electric one you have to take back every appt and you have to give it back when you stop breastfeeding. And in order for them to let you borrow the electric one you have to set up as if you're only breastfeeding, so they don't give you formula! Which sucks, but the electric pump works super good! And the manual pump would take for ever!
  • @mommy_yaya I asked my friend and here in corona she said shed got a new electric pump given to her on wic to keep just not sure what the rules are
  • Oh man! I'm jealous :p I didn't get to keep it from my son! I live in San Diego and those are the rules over here =/
  • I live in SD & just last wk the wic girl told me that if I only breast feed I will get a new electrical on to keep forever once I go back to work. She said they want to encourage all moms to breastfeed so that's an insentive to continue doing it
  • @mlk619 yeah I found out you have to b work full time and breastfeed only to get it no formula but I wonder what if ur milk runs out will they make u take it back ?
  • i live in florida
  • Yea u just have to talk to the leche consultent they give it to u about a month ahead.. So u can start building ur suply just expess ur concerns.. They should work with u
  • I was able to see an explanation of what they offer by googling my state and wic, let me know the manual versus electric deals
  • In DallS you get to keep both... You can tell them your bf and formula so u can get cans too! Dont know about other states!!
  • I'm in Perris. Not too far from you.
  • @dmaciel: I asked about that and they told me as long as u pump & continue to breastfeed when u r home ur milk will not run out. U also have to make sure u eat healthy to keep your supply up.
