but i have kids... so sick of that excuse

I am now a stay at home mom. My house is clean. I do laundry every day sweep everyday and pick up everday. Its not hard. I have a 9 and 3 year old and pregnant. Anyway I am so sick and tired of the army wives complaining and saying there house is messy and nasty all the time cause thy have kids. Well so do I bit mine is clean. When I see these women they r sitting in front of re tv while there kids r running around distroying everything! I have a solution ... turn off the tv get off ur ass and clean ur house! I don't feel bad housing is inspecting u cause ur house is nasty! Also im always baking and these wives r always bugging me about that too... take ur kids in the kitchen and ask them to help! Easy as that! N clean up as u go! I guess me point is if u arnt working and u stay at home all day with the kids u have no excuse at all to have a messy house. It should be spotless and dinners and snacks should e prepared. If u feel asif u don't have time get up earlier or get off ur butt ammove from in front of the tv! Not trying to offend anyone but if ur stay at home mom and ur house is trashed there ia no excuse at all

    I think it goes for all moms that are able that use that excuse! I have a 2 yr old and a 9 mnth old and 5 months pregnant! My house is clean laundry done and food already ready before they ask or cry. My husband knows he never has to come home to a mess or be worried what our house looks like if we have surprise guest. It doesn't even take long if you just do it instead of taking breaks. (Unless it is needed for your unborn child and u)

    I agree with taking breaks. U need to but really it doesn't take much time. Just pick up and do ur laundry everyday and do ur dishes after every meal. If ur to tired to do anything rest that day but understand u will have double work the next day n do it

    100% agree!! We are military also, don't living on base housing, but last deployment one of the girls almost lost her home because it was trashed. I don't feel bad for those people at all! I have a 3 yr old and 26 weeks pregnant. My house is always cleaned up. May not be perfect, but clean.

    Its like a military thing! I have the cleanest house in this neighborhood! Military wives are slobs! They always Bitch n complain and expect everything handed to them! Im sorry but ur not fighting a war honey ur husband is and u can at least make sure he comes home to a clean house and a good faithful wife...

    My sister has 5 kids her hubby OS deployed and has had pneumonia the last two weeks and cleans all day long and her house is still messy...not like rotten food and dishes and trash everywhere but toys and stuff out of place and such. She cleans a room up and moves onto the next room and gets that cleaned and she goes back to the first room and the kids have it messy again. Just because she is a stay at home mom and has all day to get stuff done doesn't mean its possible.

    Toys out is one thing but yes u can. It might take a few days to get a nice groove but u can. U have nothing to do all at but tend to the kids cook clean and do ur running. Ur sis should try getting rid of the tv for a week if that's a distraction. I don't care if u have ten kids if u don't work or go to school ur house should always be spotless. Unless ur sick. That's about the only reason.

    And if your kids are old enough, they need to be taught to pick up after themselves rather than running around destroying everything! I work 3 12 hr shifts, but on my days off, I'm about the house straightening and picking up. May not be perfect, but I agree with @mandac10. Just do a bit at a time!
    BTW, not a military mom, but if I'm home all day my hubby should come home to a picked-up house!

    That's her issue is that she's sick all the time. She gets pneumonia all the time bc the house they have her in has mold in it. They gave her stuff to spray on it it that's supposed to kill it but it doesn't and they won't do anything to solve the problem bc the spray is supposed to be solving the problem. So she's sick and the house gets a little behind and when she feels better she has everything spotless and then she gets sick again...that's why I said its not always possible bc hubby isn't there right now to help her while she's sick so she gets behind.

    Omg right!!!!! I only have one four month old but i make my husband lunch to take to work make him breakfast lunch and dinner. I Do laundry keep the house spotless and take care of my baby. I have been doing it since I was 16 I'm 19 now n it hasn't been a problem. My husbands gives me whatever I want so the least I can do is treat my husband well when he comes home.

    Messy and dirty are completely different! Toys on the floor is messy, dirty is thick dust, dirty dishes, old food...no excuse for that. My hubby is overseas right now but I still keep my house clean.

    My mother in law is like that! House constantly a wreck, dirty dishes in the sink, floors nasty and everything! And she reasons that she's just too tired - even when the kids aren't visiting her! She sleeps as much as she can or eats. I, on the other hand, was trying to find ways to keep the house clean even when I was on bed rest and pregnant! Even when I came home from the hospital with my son I was running around cooking and cleaning while my husband sat around in his underwear!

    I spend more time with my kids ten most parents. We clean n work together cook together n go out together. Most womens houses r dirty cause they spend all day gossiping or watching tv n don't spend time with there kids anyway... don't give me I rather spend time with my kid excuse. Most people arnt. Thry r watching tv n gossiping. I have my kids help me clean then when the daily chores r done we go to the park or beach shop or hike. Im like a super mom n wife lol! My hubbys command is alwas making comments about me and wishing there wives where clean and active like me. If anything mu house is so clean n organized because I spend so much time with my kids

    Another thing is... I have no one to impress... so therefore the wife never showers or gets ready. Then they wonder y there Hubby cheated or don't have sex with them! U do have someone to impress! Ur husband u idiot! Im not saying be sexy every day bit make some effort! Shower daily n get out of the pjs! I understand whn ur pregnant u don't exactly have the hotest clothes n and when u get huge r right after u have the baby take a little time off but still remember to shower at least!
