consultant during pregnancy

Any1 from uk even anywhere else but don't know if its the same have to see a consultant during pregnancy due to a high bmi I have my 1st apointment 2moz and just wondering what's going to happen etc thank you xx

    I see one but its due to heart conditions within the family... He'll probably just ask your background etc and then take it from there, nothin to worry about, they're just docs with a posh title ;-)

    Heya I tried wb to the post on my wall bit but wudent work :( @lyndsay1983 and seemed like a waste of time did a urine sample had blood pressure and tht was it don't see him again till november but I do get an extra 30week scan which is a bonus to check babys growing ok :) xx

    Ahh well thats a plus, I seen my f'ing idiot consultant today an he was an arse!!! Just basically said they're not gonna do anythin, urgh! I told him I didnt think it was fair that some doctor gets to make decisions about my baby without even really knowing all the details!!! Bloody waste of space :-/

    I had a high bmi when I first saw my midwife, it was 24! But she didn't do anything about it?

    24s not high in england they only worry over here if over 40 dno if its wrked out same here bt if is ild die 2 be at 24 lol
