measuring 43 weeks!!!!!

So I went for my 39 week checkup.im measuring 43 weeks..dr was planning csection for next week....but blood pressure us up..so did blood work and is making me do a 24 hour urine collection ...we go tomorrow for ultrasound and she said I will probably be having him saturday now! !!!! Im so excited for my lil man to be here...but so nervous for csection!!!

    (im scared, bc my appt monday i was almost 36 wks and she measured me at 40! oh good heavens)

    i would be too! but it can be all sorts of things. baby is laying awkward, lots of fluid. hopefully it's not about the baby being too big :-ss

    yikes good luck mama! maybe u have alot of water lol at least ur having a c section so if the baby does turn out to be big you wont have to try and push him out lol when i was 28 weeks i was measuring 34 weeks hopefully i dont have a big baby either! keep us updated!

    @landynplus1momma thank u! I had an ultrasound at 37 weeks...he was estimated at 8.5 lbs...and fluid level was normal
    ...I was 9.11 hubby was 10.3. So dr is planning csection...he isn't in position and has dropped...im not dialted...so he's big n stubborn! Will let ya know! Good luck to u 2!

    Dont worry i measured big throughout my pregnancy and was told my son would be 11lb at least! I had him at 41+2 and had an emergency csection because they were worried! He came out weighin 7lb 13oz

    I'm in the same boat, it could be alot of things hopefully ultra sound will tell ya more. I'm 38 wks & baby girl is almost 9 lbs, 8 lb. 12 oz! I knew she was big, I could tell by the limited space I have. Lol. Dr is going to see if I can dilate more so he can induce & try to let me go vaginally, but if worse come to worse I will have c section.

    @amyduh my dr tells me every appointment how many weeks im measuring...just ask ur dr next time they measure u!! And the ultrasound is how they estimate weight!!

    @Tlg81 good luck! My dr wont induce me cuz he isn't in right position and im not dialting at all!!! And...she's worried about his shoulders getting stuck!!! I understand the limited space part ...he's still sitting so high ...but only cuz he's so big! !!!

    wow! At least my little porker is in place. I'm only dialated a finger tip. Hoping to make some progress by monday cause I don't want her to get any bigger! Wish you luck to, we will have to stay in touch about the race for our butter balls
