1 hour glucose result is 142...now what?!

The nurse called and said my 1 hour result was 142, that's only 2 points higher than the normal range!!! She said my OB will talk to me about it at my appt on Wednesday. I sure hope they aren't going to make me do the 3 hour. Anyone gave experience with this?

    My exact number was 143 had to do the 3hr. Passed that one, chances u will too.

    I had to do the three hour test aaaaaand failed. But that's really no surprise because my hole pregnancy has been a tiny pain in the a$$. But I'm sure you'll be fine.:-) good luck.

    Mine was 140 and that's their cut off...and made me do the three hour....but I passed! Good luck im sure u will 2

    My docs cutoff is 135 and mine was 145 , have to go for three hour one now, seeing I'm going on vaca for a couple weeks he said no hurry so I'm not too worried

    I am not sure of my number but the doctor said I failed by one point and I had to do the three hour one today.

    They will make you.... drink lots of water for the next one... I didn't pass my first test, because I had a slice of cold pizza in the morning..... didn't think of the sugar in carbs..... ull do great on ur 3 hr.
