i forgot

edited August 2011 in Giving birth
The day she was born I was feeling pretty good. I forgot how the next few days can feel. I'm so sore I can hardly move. My back hurts from the epi and everything from the top of where I was numb down to my knees feels like its been used for batting practice. And to top it all off it feels much better to lay on my left side instead of my right and the gave me the whooping cough shot in my left are I've got a big not and bruise to lay on.

  • :( not cool. ohhhh, youre reminding me what i am putting myself in for. lol. i have been thinking in the last couple days that even though i want to go into labor now- when it happens and the first few days after i will be sore and bleeding :-S
  • @survivormommie3 I got lucky with bleeding I'm hardly bleeding anymore there's still some of the jelly type blood when I go to the bathroom and the amount on the pad is like a light peroid and every once in awhile a small gush usually when I get up after laying down for a few hours.
  • Sorry your in so much pain I hope u feel better soon . At least u have a beautiful reminder of y u r hurting get well soon
  • I had the trainwreck feeling too. Dealt with a tubal, and a cluster of hemmoroids! I'm so glad I'm all better..that bleeding comes n goes..by week 2 you will feel soo much better :)
  • Ugh. Thanks for reminding me. I'm going to try to avoid pain meds since I'm a recovering alcoholic but I also forgot how painful it can be, and I HAVE to have a c section
  • I am not looking forward to my csection recovery! Day 1 is not too bad but days 2 and 3! omg I feel like a train hit me, backed up, then came at me again. 3rd and last csection as I am getting my tubes tied. I had a vaginal with my 1st and the recovery was almost as long as I had hemorrhoids for a month the size of golf balls!
