stress @ work coz of this people!!

Ok here's the deal..to make the story short.... this is my first pregnancy...before had 2 coworkers who's pregnant first before me....I'm 29w and 6days now... I worked @ this autonotive company who supplies parts to ford etc...when the time I'm not yet preg. I help out a lot @ work...even tho its not my job I still help my coworkers coz they're my frends too...but the time I got preg....its still the same...they act like I'm not "prego!" Like they always ask me to help them out like I used to do way back then..but its different now coz I'm prego!...still they don't see that...I packed parts into the box...I make my own box..and plus check parts plus help em out...what more???? I already doing they're job...and then those pregnant ladies before(my coworkers) never worked like I did! Idk what's wrong with this ppl...they don't realized how heavy this job I'm doing!...so what I did..I talked to the team leader for the 5th times to help me out there on the floor..and she ask me how far along am I????? LOL???? When I told her...she was shock and said u better not doing that lifting anymore...LoL?????? Well yeah! Then that night I didn't help nobody coz I start hurting so bad...two of my closest coworkers start telling me that I'M LAZY???? Lol wth??? After what I did to them this is what I get??? :) they said I'm not helping out!... that's only 1 night...now my mom got mad about this situation I had with em..now I'm going to HR and tell em that those ppl don't understand my situation..instead of helping me out! I'm the one who help them! I'm mad!...what will u do if ur in my shoe???

    I wouldn't go to HR just yet. First they need to be reminded of how far u are. If your supervisor was surprised, maybe they will be too then step up and help u.If being called lazy ensures u deliver your baby safely and healthy then be lazy ;)
    I owe a ton of co_wokers, they really helped me during my pregnancy. Hope yours understand so you don't have to go to HR. Good luck!

    I hope they do..but I need to remind them so many times that I'm pregnant...they've been asking me why I'm moving so slow and I get them behind... I get behind in my job coz they don't help me..they're the ones who's asking too much help and telling my ass to go somewhere else coz I don't give no help to them and they added more to it they said YOU DON'T CARE COZ U AIN'T GONNA WORK SATURDAY!..since when I didn't care? I do! That's why I don't. Tell em if I'm sweating/hot/tired for them asking me too much help...I just work it out and talk to myself I still can do it...on my working place its too damn hot..because I'm I got no fan..plus they're running molds...I had a fan but they took it and said they needed it more than I do...then I asked one of em to pack parts for me then ill do they're jobs coz I can't take the heat around packing area...after 10mins she's coming back right tru me and tells me its hot down there where I'm working...and she needed a fan lol....and whenever I asked em for some help..I do they're JOB while they're doing what I asked for...run a mold...run a machine...check parts etc...@jaime77 @Lmelanson

    I told my supervisor about it..she said don't help them...but now I can't really do those things anymore..lifting parts..bending..twisting...help them out...can't do...but then they're mad @ me...I just feel like they don't understand at all..they know how far I am ladies..they do! :)

    It doesn't matter what they say as long as the person or people in charge(supervisor/manager/boss) is aware and ok with how you work. And get your damn fan back!

    I'm glad your supervisor is telling you not to help. I'm sure they are going to be jealous and if they are mad oh well right! It sucks they can't be friendly and supportive but when u get back from maternity leave, I'm sure they will forget and be friendly again.

    I talked to my supervisor...now she said LEGALLY I CAN RUN A "MOLD and PACKED PARTS INTO THE BOX" its not on MY RESTRICTIONS that I can't DO all those jobs! Like bending,twisting, lifting more than 20pounds ...then she ask me she can't do NOTHING abouit it! Oh lord! Then she asked whatt do I need!!! I said NONE!!!!!! I'll just tell my doctor tomorrow!     Argg! Frustrating..do u qualify for fmla there? I took personal days on the ones where my body just needed a day off. They were'nt paid but my job was secure.

    If u are seriously unable to perform ur job due to doctors orders put in for FMLA and don't work. If the doctor clears u to work u should be able to carry out your tasks, but ONLY perform your tasks. Who cares what the other employees say bout u, just do YOUR job. Just because your pregnant doesn't mean u are handicap, yes u shouldn't be lifting items over 50 pounds but over 20 pounds should not be a problem. I moved out of a

    3 story apartment all by myself at 25 weeks... And doctor says I have had a healthy pregnancy . Talk to your doctor and If they say u can't perform ur tasks at work have him give you a note and get enrolled in FMLA..

    Yes Yes ladies! Now my coworkers (2 women) are not talking to me! Hahah I don't really care anymore if they do or not..coz after all I've done my part to be there with them the whole 7months w/o saying bad things to them...now they're the one who says bad stuffs to me?
