I used them last time and loved them so much that we're using them again this time. we used the "wide" ones, so I don't know if that affects anything or not. I do know that we never had gas or reflux issues and we only had one leaky bottle (and I'm 90% sure that was user error on my husband's part, lol!)
I like to have 12 small bottles and 12 large bottles(when they are bigger). I like to have extra in case I don't get to wash them right away. Especially recovering from a csection plus I have 3 other kids so I will be very busy. I just make sure they are rinsed right away. I hope they work for us too! lol
@mariahaucoin77 ya I read on some reviews that they leak but Idk if there is something specific to do to prevent that.. I wanna try a box at least n see how it goes
@richjen24 is there a technique to fitting that piece on properly?? cause I took one bottle apart but didn't know if there was a specific way to reassemble
They worked good at first and after a few weeks we noticed wherever we stood the bottle there was a ring of milk on the counter. We couldn't figure out what we were doing differently. We thought the seals must have worn out quickly.
I used them for a year with my son and I loved them. Any bottle his dad made leaked. You just have to put the bottom level. It's very easy to mess up. But they are amazing for colic. Or just preventing gas. I breastfed and pumped and used those bottles and he transitioned back and forth so easily. I'm using the same bottles for this baby. I saved them because I love them.
I used playtex ventaire with my son. He had acid reflux and they seemed to be the best fit. I also tried dr browns and playtex dropins without success. Good luck!
We went with evenflow. They were cheap and lasted until he was off bottles. With this baby I'm going to try NUK. my friend uses those and loves them and the nipple is not too fat or skinny. I would do the evenflow ones again if my friend hadn't showed me the NUK (their also very cute).
Both. The clear peice has to be flat then if you screw the cap on funny it will mess up the clear piece. I always add water to the bottle then the formula. If I messed up the clear piece only water will leak and I won't waste my formula. If you have the pre mixed formula I would add some water to the bottle and then dump it until you get the hang out it. Accidents always happen. At night I would make three bottles with just water and let them sit on my night stand so when my son woke up I just had to add formula. There were ones when one bottle would leak the water everywhere. But I know I was rushing to get to bed and it was my fault
