What should i do with this piece?

My car seat came with a base that I will never use, since I live in nyc. What should I do with it? I don't want to toss it, its brand new.

    Keep it just incase or find a way to sell it. I know im looking for an extra base to have one in my car & one in my fiances but I doubt its the same one

    The only time I'll be in a car is the taxi ride home. I'm not installing the base if I ever have to take a taxi again cause I don't want to carry it around on me. And I know how to use the seat without it. And I'm not moving back to texas anytime soon, so no driving for me.

    Its a safety 1st base.

    Came with Safety 1st onBoard 35 infant car seat (orion) from Walmart.
