If it would be ok to have my babyshower at a restraunt. Would it be wrong of me to do it that way. I'm having a hard time finding a place that is cheap. I looking for a mutal place so my family and friends can get along. I would have it at my house but my sister and grandma don't like my dad. I refuse to have it at my sisters house because she very controling. Plus my dad wouldn't come so. I thought about asking my mil but she would have to get her son out of the house. Her son threaten to kill me,my husband and our unborn child. And she is also control freak.

  • I'm sorry for all that going on. I think a restaurant would be a nice neutral place :)

@babynumber02 would you get offend if you had to pay for meal? I don't know what's proper and what's not. I don't have the money to pay for everybody
  • i plan on having mine at a public place so it would be more of a party party & there would be less attention on me
  • So I would go with the resturant idea....its very mature and calm enviroment
  • I would probably not have it at a restaurant just because u might have less people show up if the have to pay fir food and come up with another excuse have u thought about a park?
  • @fashion_junky91 is wrong of me to have my friends and family pay for there own meal
  • Paying for a full meal could be a problem for some people.. maybe you could have it at the restaurant still, but just do appetizers..
  • Yea where I live at our weather is unpredictble Esp in sept. @momof22be
  • Maybe somewhere cheep that u can afford like a pizza place?
  • I would give appetizers and cake but too pay for their meals no I would not. So being that they are going to a resturant they shud know that will buy their own meals. Or u can have it catered or make food to advoid the problem
  • A friend of mine had hers at pizza hut bc most usually have that back room.
  • I actually had mine at a bar and grill for the fact we bought chicken wings in bulk and brought our own cake...it didn't cost very much but I didn't have to pay for it, my family did. Good Luck :)
