So I had an episiotomy(sp??) And I was givin a water bottle to squirt my vajayjay....i was wondering how long to use the squirt bottle?? Or when can I go back to using tp

    I used it for a few weeks, but after about a week, I'd squirt and then pat dry with tp

    I'd do both, squirt, pat gently until u feel better.

    I used mine till it felt better down there. But I kept patting dry till about 4 weeks.

    I tore with ds 4 who's 11days old I never had a bottle I'm in aus I just pat dry with toilet paper till u feel comphy with wiping again

    never had to use that and don't know anything about it...probably cuz I didn't do vaginal birth im assuming.

    thank you everyone:) I was hopin not too long cuz I hated filling the bottle....and yes an episiotomy is where they have to cut you and luckily I had an epidural and I didn't feel it...@thehumancrockpot

    I had c cection n I got the squirt bottle I loved it...felt so much better...I cant imagine how it felt for a vag birth..it was so much relife for me

    Use the bottle the whole time. Plus it helps desolve the stitches. I started pat drying 3 days after birth.
