When can I give my family the " IM PREG" news??

I had a mc in late march and I was only 9 weeks but found out at 4weeks I was preg, we were sooo excited we ran the news to our familys. Buts at 9 weeks my bby had no heartbeat and my hubby n I had to give d news to my fam that I lost my bby... It was so hard for us. But now 3 months later god blessed us once agin. Only us both know im pregnant but when can I start tellin our fam d big news???

    Omg, 6months no, I cant go that long wout telling our parents n family, 12 weeks sounds like a better option :)

    U should wait til 3months the chances of miscarriages ager that are low.

    Its up to you both but me personally would wait til after I hear a heartbeat & things look good because I wouldnt wanna break any more bad news, or you know some people might think your crying wolf because ive seen it happen to a friend. But this is triumph after tragedy so congratulations on the baby & hopefull all goes well

    12 weeks or when you get a heartbrat over 140 is when the miscarriage risk drops to 5%. I only have one thing to add. Its hard to untell but for me it was even harder to tell and untell in the same paragraph.

    I'm 5 months and my mom is the only one in my family that knows and I didn't even tell her (motherly instincts) but I wasn planning on telling anybody..but most people wait til at least 12 weeks. :) CONGRATS MAMA

    @rene28 I told my mom and his mom at 4 months( mothers day) but we swore them to keep secret!!!

    I waited till 17 weeks to tell family and friends

    We told only our immediate family and each of our best friends when I was 8 weeks. We waited to announce it to everyone else till after my first ultrasound and for 12 weeks.
