when did u give ur baby its first bath?

So I just got home today from the hospital. Yay! But was wondering when can I give my newborn a bath?

    I believe with my son me and my husband waited two days or maybe three to give him a sponge bath. He didn't like it lol but we got through it.

    Didn't get a real bath till cord fell off sponge down about three days after getting home

    As soon as the cord fell off...also when the pee pee heals if its a boy!

    we did sponge baths until her cord fell off. we waiting a day or two then out her in the water. we were told to wait for the cord to fall to lessen the chance of it getting infected. it took 10 days and the thing was just sitting in her diaper when i went to change her lol

    I gave my daughter her first bath a week after she got one at the hospital but it was only a wipe down not her in the water. I think a week and a half or two we did a sink bath and then we did a bath tub bath
