Measuring small

Hey everyone! :) I'm going to be 34 weeks tomorrow and for my last two doctors appointment I was told I was measuring small but that everything was probably ok. I had another appointment today and my doctor scheduled an ultrasound to check my baby's growth. Now I'm thinking something is wrong and I'm really scared. I'm about 5'1 and weigh 121. A lot of people tell me my belly is so tiny. Has anyone been told their baby is measuring small but everything turned out fine? :(

    I had a friend who was full term and looked about 5 months preggo her baby was just small about 5lbs and 16in.. how much smaller are you measuring?? I'm measuring a week small

    I don't know, I've only had one ultrasound when I was 21 weeks and they never told me how big my baby was :/

    Im measuring 2 wks behind.. dr told me not to worry though. But of course I am worried & will be til my next appt on sept 7th

    btw my belly is rly small too, & was with my first child also. I dont know if I was measuring off with my first though because I didnt have care until about 6 months in & we werent sure exactly how far along I rly was

    @mamaqueen i was told 2weeks ago i was measuring small and so i had an ultrasound today! Well she is prefect! And everything on the ultrasound measured prefect. But then went and saw the doctor after and she measured with the tape measure and again i measured small but she says its prob because im so skinny i don't think im skinny but the ultrasound doesn't lie!

    I'm measuring 2 weeks smaller also. They did an u/s and he's fine. Just little. Dr is keeping an eye on us but said don't freak about it.

    If he is gonna do an u.s and u just have one...i think its ok...my drs made me two and i really want another one...i think they always do an u.s when you are in 30 something weeks....good luck....although if u or ur bd are "small" "short" "tiny" "petite" how fo u expect a "big" baby....lol ;-)

    I wouldn't worry too much honey, if there is something to be concerned about- then you will find out tomorrow and the doctors will let you know everything about it. But for tonight, just be happy with your baby(: Some people just measure small lol. I look like I'm only 5 months pregnant and in reality I am 8months and my booger is HUGE!!
    Just wondering though, on all the heart beat checks has the baby been sounding great?? But hon, stress will not do anything good for either you or the baby so just focus on healthy, happy babies!(: Keep us updated for sure though!!!!! Prayers(:

    Im very small as well people never believe I'm 8 months preggo. My baby is measuring 2 weeks behind but it has nothing to do with my size my doctor said I have a condition and protien s deficiency which restricts nutrients to the baby. I never even knew I had thi but,im glad my doctor caught it because I was tired of people thinking I was starvin my baby cuz im so tiny its just one of those things you cant help its hereditary. With weekly monitoring my baby has improved and the doctor said most babies catch up pretty quick

    @mommyb3, I hope it's the same with me. My ultrasound is this friday so we'll see.

    @pinkigirl, my doctor said he isn't worried about it but he wants me to have an ultrasound just to make sure. A lot of people are measuring 2 weeks behind and everything is ok with their baby so I'm feeling a bit better now :)

    @monkeymam, it would be nice if my baby was small and healthy since I want a natural birth, it would probably make it a little bit easier on me lol

    @lindseynicole96, I look like I'm 5 months too! I thought I'd be huge since I'm short lol. And my baby's heartbeat has always been in the 140s. I thought it was low but I was told it's normal. Thank you so much. I feel relaxed now :D

    @mommyy2be, aww I hope they don't change my due date. I don't want to wait longer to see my baby girl :(

    @ashley17, how did they find out about your condition?

    Haha, I thought I would be huge too, but I was underweight before getting pregnant and it took longer for me to gain weight and show- but You're TINY too lol! It probably will just take you some time to look huge lol. But don't worry until you have proof that you have to, just enjoy rubbing your belly and playing tappsies with your baby tonight(:

    i started a post similar 2 this one 2day...i asked how much their baby weighed at 33wks...i feel like he's small cause on friday i had a 3D u/s done & the tech said he needed 4 more oz's till he was 4lbs :/ i thought at that time he was supposed 2 be 4lbs or more...the doc says im measuring fine & hasnt requested an u/s...so who knows...im also real small...at 33+4wks, im weighing 128!!! im 5'1 also...i started at 103...& everybody tells me im small...but i feel huge! lol

    I was almost exactly like you! I'm 5'1 and was 118 at birth. I also measured small and had to get 3 growth ultrasounds. Most likely, you're baby is fine! At 37 week appointment, my belly was measuring 34 weeks so they sent me for my 3rd growth u/s and they told me he was fine, just tiny and weighed 5lbs 15oz........I had him that week, he was actually 7lbs 9oz! They can be up to 3 lbs off and baby could be sitting way back in your back :)

    U should b ok, sounds like doc jus makin sure n prlly tryna calm u down. I was told I was measuring 2-3wks small for awhile, now for the past coup appts theyre sayin shes measuring 1-2wks big..it also has to do with when they measure [b4 or after a growth spurt] and how babycakes is positioned. I hope this helps a little..its was I was told cuz I freaked out as well. Good luck mamma!! =]

    @lindseynicole96, I was underweight as well. I was worried I wouldn't be able to gain any weight since it's hard for me but now I see it's the opposite, my doctor told me to slow down with the weight gain lol

    @havingnumber4, it could be that.. My doctor said I'm running out of space

    @librababii, I feel huge too lol! I wish they would have told me how much my baby weighed at my 21 week ultrasound. I feel like my doctors don't really share information with me :/

    @Bentleysmommy, your son is adorable! :) would I be able to tell if the baby is positioned in my back? Would I feel pain or anything?

    @mommy_rel, I hope so. I have 5 weeks left so if she is small she has a whole month to grow :) &thanks. When are you due?

    Thank you so much :) And my back hurt my entire pregnancy but nothing to extreme or out of the ordinary. So no, not necessarily :)

    @havingnumber4, I was just told that. I'm confused now though because on the paperwork for my ultrasound, under diagnosis my doctor put 'fetal growth, size greater than date' do you know what that could mean?

    I was measuring 2 weeks behind with my first she was fine they just thought koz i was so tall and skinny. This time round I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead and she's actually smaller than she should be but healthy. Have to have growth scans til shes due which is only 3 weeks away. I'm sure you'll have nothing to worry about.
