doubting the bladder infection. contractions?? im confused..help please

I am 35 weeks. I went to hospital and was monitored. Had contractions come on the monitor but not dilated. Was given a shot to ease cramping. Helped contractions go away. Was given antibiotics because they said I had a bladder infection. I have been taking the meds the right way for 3 days and been drinking fluids. But no improvement. Now I got the same pains in pelvic area, feel over heated, and now back pain started today. Stomach is hard. Idk what to do. What is this? Please help.

    Probably contractions again. Best to call the doc or get more meds

    @m2bhope I have 2 days left of antibiotics. Could it be braxton hicks or real contractions?

    Your bladder infection could be causing you to contract. They can be strong enough to dilate you. They're most likely premature contractions. If you're in a lot of pain I'd go in.:) my bladder infection took 10 days to clear up. The whole time was hell! The pain was sooo bad! Also drink water like no other!:)

    It's hard to say . If they are regular pains that don't ease with anything you do then they might be real.

    @Mrs4c I went to l&d and they gave me nonrefillable antibiotics they have done nothing. I got 5 days worth of meds. Take 2 a day.@m2bhope and they are strong pains in the pelvic area dull back pains. Get the back pains when I get pelvic pains.

    I'd go back in just in case. You may need stronger antibiotics or it could be beginning of real labor. Contractions can be very confusing when you have a bladder infection. It can make it harder to tell if they're bh or real. I know I was confused when I had one. I was on 7 day antibiotics and felt pain up to day 10. I went back to l& d on day 10 because I still hurt. They took urine again and my infection was gone. Did monitoring and came to be I was having premature contractions!

    @Mrs4c well my antibiotics are done Sunday. I have an appt Monday. I'll talk to my dr Monday and see if he has suggestions.

    I just found out today I had a bladder infection which explains the back & pelvic pain I hope I feel better before I'm induced next week

    I'm 37 weeks and in ld now for contractions, they think uti. Not dilated. I also have a yeast infection. Hoping they will induce. Im also positive for strep b and rh-
