my baby's umbilical cord fell off!

And now I understand why my mom saved mine. It's like a little piece of both of us that held us together for 9 months. I don't think I can throw it away! Lol did any of you keep your baby's cord when it fell off??

I have 5 babies and kept all 5 of them. I put each of theirs in a ziploc and put it in their baby book. I feel like it was the last thing that connected us to one another from the womb. I'm very sentimental. lol. @starrxoxo9

My boys' cords are in their baby books. I can see how some think It's gross, but I couldn't part with them. I will keep this one too
