dry skin

My babe is 10 days old and has some peeling dry skin on her hands, do I just leave it be or put some lotion on them?

    Bump..would he be able to use baby oil?

    I actually Googled this the other day because my daughter has the same thing. It said its normal, and her pediatrician said if her skin is real dry, lotion doesn't really work, and to use petroleum jelly.

    My babies had it nuthn really works for it I used aveeno it seemd to clear it up for awhile it will go away tho .

    Have You taken her to see her doctor? It may be eczema.
