  • I feel you hun. My oldest started 5th grade and my middle 3rd. My youngest daughter starts preschool on monday. Where does the tine go?! Before we know it they will be taking the walk down the graduation path. Sigh..... :'( good luck mama stay strong! It will never be easy for us. Good luck to your son.
  • Awww graduation :( the time really does go so fast. I just looked at him for so long this morning... he's as tall as I am now... so grown up. I asked him if he was nervous and he said "no mom but I can tell you are" I had to choke back the tears. Thank u for reading and replying... at least I know I'm not the only one who still has a hard time when he's so old now... my friends who arnt parents yet think I'm nuts. :)
  • My little man started kindergarten today. He didn't wanna hold my hand. :'(
  • lol am I the only mom who gets excited when my kids start school?
  • Oh kindergarten was the worst for sure. When my son went to kindergarten the teacher gave all the parents a not with kleenex in it and the note had a poem in it and I stayed in the parking lot for so long reading and crying. Now its alreasy 7th grade and it seems like that was just yesterday. :(
  • @bigmamak no your not I promise. I'm excited up until the morning of... then I get nervous and sad. but I am thankful at times for the break.
  • My oldest son is starting 2nd grade and my youngest son will be starting kindergarten. Only thing I am nervous about is this will be the first year they take a bus due to the fact we moved and are no longer in walking distance of the school. I am just looking forward to a break. My daughter and younger son fight constantly they are only 15 months apart and I have the new baby coming Oct 6 so after this summer(I call it the summer from HELL) I REALLY need that few hour break during the day! lol
  • My oldest will be starting his junior year in high school in 2 weeks. I can't believe that we have to start thinking about college and his adult future already. That makes me so nervous.
  • @bigmamak I have a 10 year old difference in age between my first two kids and I thought that was hard but I'm guessing the closer in age the harder it is. I completely get needing the break though. @menemami oh my his Jr year!!!! I thought I had the oldest at 13. I'm sure when it gets to there senior year and Jr year we start to get more nervous again because we know they are going off to college soon. :(
  • Mine is a kindergartener today!! Yeah! She was so excited... her teacher has a 'no parent in the classroom the first days of school' rule and it actually worked really well... Kisses and go!!! I didnt see one parent crying, and only one kid outta the whole school...
  • my son started kinder on monday! :-S He was at the stage where he was a big boy and didnt want to hold my hand anymore....he sure held my hand very firmly on his own as we walked to school...that alone almost made me cry! He had the worst 1st day we could have! They put him on the bus home and he wasnt supposed to be and my poor baby was scared bc he didnt know where to go! I met him at the bus stop and he had a scared look and my heart just sank....I had promised id be ther to pick him up from school! :( I was furious with the school staff as im sure u can imagine! (he didnt get home on the bus till an hour later!!!)this will be day 3 and im hoping they go smoother! he cried the 2nd day bc he said he didnt like the bus he cried today bc he said he misses me! :( (mind u he doesnt get to c daddy/my hubby no more)<----he works 2nd shift + overtime so hes sleeping :( i think this has been the hardest...he loved pre-school! ugh sry i just kinda vented.......Mind u my younger son who is 3 loves having me all to himself lol
