Ill say he's big but ill tell you nxt week @ my 31wk scan on tues but I dint think ill be much of help.because my lil girl has measured big this whole pregnancy
Oh my! I go next week for 30 week us n 4-5 lbs seems so big! I guess that's average sense all of u are saying that big. My son was a lil over 5 at birth that's y it seems big to me
@crystaldawn0830, that sounds about right, measuring 3 weeks ahead. My little man was measuring around 3 weeks ahead when they did the ultrasound last week and they estimated his weight at about 4 lbs 9 oz. If the doctors aren't worried, try not to stress about it. Sometimes babies just go on growth spurts at different times. He might just even out now.
@mommyo3soon2b4, they can estimate the babies weight at a growth ultrasound. They measure their head, abdomen, femur and humerus and that gives them a very estimated weight.
This is baby #4 and I don't guess I have ever had a growth ultrasound. Now I'm jealous...I wanna know how big Maddox is...cause if I had to guess I would say 23 lbs!
Wow! We don't get our babies measured like that here in the UK! No scans unless there is a medical need after 20 weeks! But I read on Sunday when I turned 30 weeks the baby will roughly weigh 3lbs! So some of these babies are on course to be big!!
