Im here with ya. My belly will.never be the same. But having my son was totally worth everything I went through. My belly shrunk a tiny bit and my stretch marks faded yours will too mama. >:D<
I just had my 5th baby and my first was born 15 yrs ago when I was 19. After having my first my tummy was covered with stretch marks. I would say it looked like Freddy Krugers face was on my stomach, lol. But I learned to embrace them. It came from something beautiful and wonderful. Keep in mind your either born to get them or not. Many women have them so I kept that in my head to make me feel better. Just knowing that I'm not the only one. Now they will fade over time, but everytime you see them let it be a reminder of the precious life that came from them.
Every mark in ur body is worth it at the end!! Just give it its time... I myself am sad depressed too.cuz I still.dont fit on my reg clothes after 2mnths. i started back to work last week and sadly In sti wearing maternity clothes. nothing else fits unless I buy bigger sizes ... Hugzzz to u momma! Keep you head up!! Be A PROUD Momma!!
Stretch marks are a badge of a real woman be proud of yourself! Try fade sweetie! In a few months they will bw light white lines. I know they're not pretty and im not going to lie u did get them bad but I have seen way worse! Once that belly firms up and thy fade all will be good. It takes awhile to firm it back up but diet and exercise and bam there u go! It wont happen over night! Also no tanning beds or sun on those marks! It'll take even longer to fade n heal. Keep ur rad up those marks are worth the beautiful baby u have now! U need to put a pic of baby up with the caption worth it
i can tell you they will fade alot.. and right now they are so fresh and apearent cause they are new.. i know its a shocker.. i know i was horrified after my first.. but try not to pay attention to them.. and dont forget the life you now have.. that you created.. girll.. its the price of motherhood and if you ask me.. id do it all over again and im sure you would too.. infact i am doing it over again.. lol :X
ya know what... i'm not pregnant, and haven't been... but i applaud you for putting these up. We, as women, are SO hard on ourselves... and i think it took courage to post this! Anyways, i love that ppl say they are marks of motherhood and what not but can imagine they really are difficult to except. BUT, seems like in being on here we've got lots of great advise!! The pregly's will help you, AND just make sure to keep working on yourself and your health and i'm sure you'll be able to feel comfortable in your own skin soon enough. >:D< just want to congratulate you on your little one bc i'm sure it is all worth it! so smile girl!!! ;-) you're a beautiful mama.
yes they will fade..and end up looking white..but if there still red or purple i recommend bio oil help the processes of fading.. believe me i wish i knew that you can still take care of them when they where that color..Cus once here white there's no chance there going anywhere...
Thats nothing. I gained almost 100lbs with my first n never ever lost more than 10-20 lbs after i had her. Stretch marks faded over time but have come back with this pregnancy. Thank god ive not gained a single pound this time n im 36 weeks good luck!
My tummy looked about the same i even got some right above my buttcrack! It has lightened but i guess it didn't help i got prggo 9 mts later! Now i still have em n i still cnt lose my weight n this was 3yrs ago i have no xcuse n i still have problems accepting my body not the marks but my weight I'm 5"1 n almost 200! I used to b 120 but i have big babies!
thats exactly how my tummy looks! I consider my stretch marks trophies. I am nourishing a child inside of me and I don't care (anymore) that I am not model thin and will never look like they do in magazines. It used to really bother me. now I just think if someone doesn't like it, its their problem. I use bio oil and coco butter as well. have you checked out the website that was posted here the other day? it featured pregnant women's bodies before and after birth? I think it was called theshapeofamother.com
I had huge purple ones and the bad thing for me was that I was 16! Now with my 2nd baby I had 4mo ago no stretch marks. They fade and don't worry everyone gets them prego or not
There not stretch marks there TIGER MARKS! Rawr! lol I'll be putting post pics up in next 8 weeks (due in 4) and am covered in tiger marks, but they all tell the beautiful story/journey of pregnancy/motherhood, i hope everyone still tells you how beautiful you are
