Is it a growth scan? If so, they just look at all the baby's organs and parts and see if everything is working right and they also measure the baby's limbs, head, and body to make an approximate size and weight. They also measure the amount of fluid the baby has- the normal range is between 8-18cm. But yes, it's nothing to worry about and it is very fun to see your little one(:
I had growth ultrasound at 33 weeks. They just measure all the baby's limbs, head, stomach, etc. And then from that they figure out the weight of the baby. They also look at the baby's brain, heart, kidneys, stomach, cord, fluid and make sure everything looks normal.
