It depends on when you started...check out the insert, it usually tells you what to do depending on when you started the bc and when you started your period...
My doctor on base told me its effective after one week. But I have heard places say it can take as much as 3 months... I didnt get pregnant whenever I had sex after waiting a week
I was told 7 days by a nurse today. I don't know if I'll get a period...I'm breast feeding...my daughter is a little over a month old. I believe in the past I've only waited a week and never got pregnant.
