Ok so my doc is out of town this week and I'm pissed she said I can wait till 38 weeks to be checked by her or let the other doc in her office check me at first I was going to wait because I don't know this doc and to be honest I've seen him Arlington and he gives me the heeby geveies but I've been doing my evening primrose oil and I wanna know if its been doing anything!!!!! So in 20 MIN. I am going to ask to be checked aaaahhhhhh wish me luck

Did anyone have some harsh bh after being checked?

hope he sees you've progressed!!!:) I pictured my dermatologist checking me btw. He's probably 80 and most his patients have old people skin problems not acne. He's totally creepy but very understanding and always has new ideas to help treat me. I'd freak if he was my ob! He gives me the shivers!

***update*** Wha wha whaaaaaaaa I'm only 50% effaced and a fingertip dialated so epo everynight here I come and I just found out the old man will probably be delivering my daughter I just found out my doctor has breast cancer and had a double masectomy last Thursday they say they got it all but she can't move right now please pray for her she has a 6yo daughter

Wow. Alot of news to get in one appointment. I hope she recovers well. And that's not bad for 37 weeks. Stay active if possible and keep up the epo if you feel. With my first I went from that point to 2 cm 90 effacement by the next week. I got active took walks, cleaned, had a fair amount of sex lol and ended up having her the next day after being checked. I was 38 weeks along. Goodluck!

Next time you go in, you could ask them to do a membrane strip. It hurts like hell but it put me in labor just a few hours later :-) For now to get it started, go for walks, take warm baths and have sex...a lot of sex lol. GL!!

@duskbydawn I know right she never said a word to me I was in complete shock :O but thank you that is very inspiring I hope that happens to me I will be getting checked again next Tuesday and ill have a us to see how big jasmine is the doc says for my vbac he wants to know the size of the baby

Just stay consistent!! At my 36weeks appointment I was 1cm and 50% at my 37 I was 1.5 cm & 80%
