Is their an alternative that really works?? To me 50$ for a belly wrap is kind of ridiculous ...

  • I totally with you on that one. If you find an alternative please let me know.
  • I got mine at target and it was only 16.99
  • @Trisha no way!? What was the brand called and did it work??
  • They only have one brand but I can't remember and I just got it. It help so much. I love it. I was using the one frome the hopital that they use and it worked til I started getting bigger. But this one is called I believe bandit if I can recall. Sorry
  • @Trisha its okay thank you!
  • Its called a bella belt. I have the one from target also! :)
  • BeBelly at Target is awesome! I love mine. It was under $20
  • Yep there you go. I just have a bad memory. But I know for a fact it was 16.99 cause I want spending anymore then 20.00 on one. But like I said it works wonders. And your welcome
  • Oh thanks I've been wanting to get one too but the other one is way to expensive! Im due Sep 24th, cant wait!

I'm getting Spankx :-bd I've heard that works well, too. One that goes way up and down the thighs. Hello, butt shaping and post-baby belly compression.

@justkirarenee don't feel bad! Pants are a big no since I got pregnant! I have a ba donk a donk tho... :"> lol
@angierose3 my baby is really low in my pelvis I'm hoping he'll be here soon!
@liveourlittleone I need one for my booty!!!
  • I've always had a huge butt, LOL. I wear dresses mostly, but sometimes, Florida heat requires me to wear shorts. And elastic is not very attractive,
  • @justkirarenne you got to work with what ya got ;;) ! Haha
  • Ahhh your too cute. I'm not due til oct. 20th and it does help hold up you tummy. The baby is so low that it hurts so bad to walk or get up. The bebelly is wonderful. Not a cure but much help.
  • My friend said go to a consignment store for maternity and baby stuff that's where she got hers and some other stuff similar for way cheaper. I asked her a few weeks ago lol. And she said spanks work good too
  • Walmart has some body sharpers for cheap like 20.. I got one from Ross for 9, there's also some at Cato with 3 different size hooks so you can tighten it as you get smaller those are separates though (shorts that shape, and shirt minus boobies with boning ) I'm 1 week pp and my stomach has gone almost all the way down!
  • I got spanx one piece and the separates from Cato :) I'm currently wearing both bc one alone isn't tight enough but when I left the hospital I could barely squeeze my fat butt in it lol
  • Thanks ladies! :)
  • @jay_brad Thank you for the tag, going to target tomorrow.
  • I got the belly bandit....Its bulky so I only wore it at home post partum...it really did help, then got Target's generic Spanx (Assets) the one that doesn't cover your boobs but has straps for when I go out. The spanks and Bellaband won't "bind" you or squeeze you into shape, but they make stuff fit better and smoothes out bumps.

I also bought the Shrinx hip belt...total waste.
  • @mama_busy_bee the hip belt is that like for thighs??? And thank-you for reference :) I was wondering if the extra $$ would make a difference .. cause sometimes you have to buy name brand or it doesn't work.. but thanks ill def be going to target :)
  • @jay_brad well try to find a binding belt, I know there are cheaper ones than the bandit....The spanx n Assets are purely shapewear, not binding products like the bandit. The Shrinkx is for hips...the idea is that there's relaxin in your body after the baby for 8 weeks...so your joints are loose still, so you can push your hips back into place. It goes over your butt....so that looks really bad, and I barely wore it. Thought I might at night, but I just wanted to be comfortable at night. A few times i did the Shrinx belt and bandit....I only got the Shrinx cuz I had a credit at motherhoood and couldn't find anything to buy haha.
  • @mama_busy_bee but do you reccomend the shrinx?? :) & I'm definitely getting something for my belly!
