Good for nothing cops (Completey NPR)

Ok so there is an empty house up for sale right next door to mine and about a month ago these ghetto ass teens started just hanging out in front like they own it or something. I mean at times there is like 8 of them just hanging out in front being loud lazy bums! I don't freaken understand why they feel the need to hang out in front of this house when they only live a few houses away (which I'm not happy that they live on my block at all). So I've called the cops on them twice already and they have come and checked them out and told me they would keep an eye out on them...yeah bullshit. I come home from work every damn day to see them next door and have to hear their loud asses. So today I called AGAIN and the damn good for nothing cop told me "we've already checked them out and they are fine" WTF! >-) So I say "you mean to tell me they can hang out and be loud in front of a house that is not theirs?" And he just says "All I can say is that we have already checked them out and they are fine" You have got to be kidding me! I'm tired of seeing and seeing these low lifes in front of my damn house. There is even this little girl that is 15 who has a baby and has it sitting out in front with her in the heat all day.

I'm so frustrated with the cops in my town, it is because of them and the city that my town has gone to shit! This used to be a nice place to live in, not anymore! No wonder this house next door hasnt gotten sold, people probably drive by and see these low lifes in front and say 'hell no!"...Does this sound right? Can you just hang out and sit on the porch of a house that is not yours????

  • U wldnt think they wld b able to hang out on a house that they don't own..its private property. Mayb if u find out who actually owns the house an contact them an mayb they can take further action with the cops?
  • Thats a good question... I would think that the person who was trying to sell it would have a problem with it!! I guess if they arent harming anyone, then technically the cops cant do anything. Maybe you should go buy a sign that says "stay off lawn" and put it there at night and remove it in the morning!!! :)

  • @breewashington08 @usafwife_21 The thing is that it was taken under forclosure so the bank owns it now :-(

  • @USMCwifemommy101107 LOL, you are not alone...it took me a while to figure out too
    ;-)
  • O..then I dnt know. But u wld still think they wldnt b aloud to hangout at a vacant house if it don't belong to them. Its weird the cop wld allow it rather theyr causing damage or not.. mayb talk to ur mayor?
  • @breewashington08 Yeah I couldn't believe he told me they could not do anything else. Thats BS!! Maybe I'll go into the police station and talk to them...
  • Is it being sold by a real estate company? Maybe you can report it to them and let the real estate company call the owners
  • @Teabee thats a good idea, but the owner is the bank...not sure how that would work. But its worth a try! :)
  • The cops hands are tied. There is no owner *that would give a fig* to talk to. They arnt causing property damage. Its not illegal to loiter in a residential area. The cops have to work with local laws if they come onto your property then you can call and press charges for trespassing.
  • @beaded_bunny Ugh! That makes me mad! :-<

  • @2BeForgotten Yeah they have the baby out there like its a damn doll...I am gonna kee calling till they get tired! Its getting to the point where I dont want them to see me leave my house bcuz they are gonna know nobody is home and I'm scared they will try to break in.

  • @2BeForgotten That what I'm saying!!! They only live a few houses away, I dont understand why they just cant sit in front of it!!! uuuuuugh!
  • Isn't that trespassing? Can you call the owner of the house and have them make a complaint? Ask your neighbors or even friends or someone else call as well so you're not the only one complaining about it.
  • Id call the people who are selling the home...real estate agency. Also call cps & tell them about the baby being baked in the sun all day. Is baby eating? Too hot? Who knows! So it needs to get checked out. Call the cops & tell them about baby being neglected or whatever...being exposed to smoking & drinkng. Maybe you can also tell these kids parents.
