i was in the e.r. when this poor baby came in

I could hear the baby crying and struggling to breathe and I was in tears. I am so pissed I don't know all of this bc from what I heard (bc I couldn't see bc I had a neck brace on) the baby was only 3 days out of the nicu from breathing problems of unknown cause and the parents claimed they didn't know why she wasn't breathing. They came in later, according to this article and were finally charged the third time they brought in the baby. My hubby was with me in the e.r. and he went to get me something.to eat in lobby and when he came back hr was pissed bc he said there was a ragged trashy looking couple drunk as shit both of them and the woman had bruises and the man was very nervous always looking behind him. He told me he didn't think the baby had issues bc of nothing and that the police should take the baby away but I guess they didn't that night they waited till Monday bc the couple didn't leave a valid address with the hospital and the baby was born in a hospital an hr and a half frm the one they brought her into.
I'm so pissed. If I had known all of this while sitting there scared for that baby I would've kicked their asses myself and my hubby sure would've helped

so i guess the comment " could have caused the baby's death" confused me- did she die or is she ok?
@survivormommie3 the article says the baby could've died I don't think she did but the poor thing will probably have permanent brain damage and they're both sentenced to prison.
Ladies u have no idea how pissed unwashed that they were right in the next room and I could've beaten their ass myself or my hubby bc he was already ready to
now that i have my own little baby boy i cant imagine people hurting such a small baby
