oh what the hell? (grandma vent)

My grandma just told me that since I've waited so long (I'm 31 today actually), that she can't picture me as a mom. She said its because they don't see me everyday. I'm in Colorado they are in Michigan. I just don't understand why people don't think before they talk. I know she didn't mean anything by it. But really grandma, really?

    You can tell her that's funny and that ever since that dumb sh*t came out of her mouth you can't picture her as a grandmom so you're even.

    Ya, people don't understand the effect their words can have sometimes. I'm sure you will be a wonderful mother, and your grandma will be proud of you once she sees you with your little one :)
