the medela pump

So my wic last told me I can receive a free pump through them and the insurance company and they sent me the medela double pump it works great and it is even better than the one I rented from the hospital just wanted to say I highly recommend it

    So both WIC and your insurance sent you the pump? or was it just through WIC? Cause I'm on wic and I only have a hand pump, and would love it if I could get a free electric one from wic.

    @cait_septembermommy wic on cali gives a free double electric pump but catch is I got to work full time or school full time and they won't give you any formula at all even if ur milk runs out you can't get formula trough wic if u get there free breast pump and I won't get the pump till u go back to work

    @dmaciel hmm, I wonder if its the same here in GA. Cause she's eating formula too because I'm not producing enough yet. And I don't work and I took a semester of school off.

    Here in pa Wic will let you borrow one until the insurance company sends you one. In order for my insurance to give You one have to be planning to go back to school or work. But my sister in-law got hers while she was in the hospital and decided not to breast feed so she gave me hers now I have two and Wic still will give us formula if we change our mind and we keep the pump from the insurance. Its the medela electric pump

    I'm in pa as well wic told me to have my ob contact the insurance company and tell them I am bf and need a pump oh and I am working part time I didn't know about it until I was at my appt and the lady asked if I was pumping and if so how and I was renting the one from the hospital this one works so much better than the hospital one @cait_SeptemberMommy @ginaa412

    @lala15 yeah my doctor has to FAX a prescription over once Im delivering and it'll be delivered before I go home. But Wic told I can borrow one until I receive mine if for some reason its not here.

    II JUST bought the medela pump yesterday cuz I was pretty sure my insurance said they wouldn't cover. I have highmark blue cross blue shield, don't qualify for wic.
