anyone else think this is messed up??

One of the best parts about being pregnant is that you don't have to worry about your period.
no tampons, no fear of starting when you are not prepared, no menstrual cramps..
Is it gods funny joke that contractions feel like menstrual cramps?? Maybe its just me and im extra angry since I've been battling contractions my entire pregnancy but im really sick of it.

Being woken up by these is just rude!! Im now laying in bed trying to decide if the menstrual cramp ones hurt worse than the tightening of the entire belly ones or not.. the jury is still out on that one!

Darn you uterus..be nice to me!

  • My menstrual cramps are worse cuz nothing helps! Tylenol midol pamperin..I take 4 pills at a time and get the pain tolerable enough to walk :(
  • But both do suck!!!!!
  • @caiti5 I never had menstrual cramps, then my first was born and id get them occasionally but not to bad.. these suck!
  • Both of them are horrible. It sucks even worse because you've been having them for so long :-(
  • Lucky not having menstrual cramps! But sorry youve had to experience so many contractions!!! :( I couldn't imagine! Takes a strong woman to do that ;)
  • I've had such terrible menstrual cramps that I'd need to stay home from school because I'd be so sick. Sometimes it got to the point where I couldn't even keep water down because I was in so much pain. I'm just starting to get contractions and I think that so far they don't hurt as bad, but they cover a larger area (i feel them in my pelvis and back as well as in the front) so they still suck just about as bad as menstrual cramps. Plus the knowledge that these are just little contractions just makes me nervous to feel the real labor ones! :))
  • Haven't had any contractions yet but I hope they aren't like my menstrual cramps. My cramps would be so bad I'd have to stay home the first two days and take advil like it was candy. Now I'm scared
  • For you ladies that have the really bad menstrual cramps...I suffered from the same thing and the pain was unbearable! My doc put me on motrin800 and told me to start taking them every 6-8 hours the day before my period was due and it helped take the edge off.good luck :)
